What better way to spend February 29, that day that mysteriously appears on our calendars every four years, than uncovering the mysteries of John’s Pass? Concealed in the shadows of history, hiding among folklore and legend, live tales of ghosts and haunted houses. From the beach to the bay lie secret tales of eerie tragedies and modern-day hauntings. Gather your courage and scare up some fun on a Ghost Storytelling Tour of the boardwalk and village at John’s Pass, led by costumed professional Ghost Tour Guide. Learn how the Pass suddenly appeared in 1848, and how, long before the restaurants and gift shops, the area was home to now-vanished Tocobaga villages and mounds, and how conquistadors and turtle fishermen sailed its waters.
All proceeds from the tour will benefit Celebrate Outreach’s Saturday Morning Breakfast, which feeds over 90 homeless and precariously housed people in downtown St. Petersburg every Saturday of the year. Join professional ghost tour leader for an evening that will leave you seeing John’s Pass with new eyes, and will help Celebrate Outreach serve hungry people in St. Petersburg.
Tickets are $29.00 per person
